Windows (WSL)

On Windows, LaraKube Desktop runs inside the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL), the same way the LaraKube CLI does.

New in 0.0.1

Running Desktop through WSL is new in 0.0.1. If something does not work, please tell us.

What you need​

  • Windows 11. It shows Linux apps in a normal window (WSLg).
  • WSL with Ubuntu.

Steps​

  1. Open PowerShell as administrator, run wsl --install, and restart.

  2. Open the Ubuntu app.

  3. Download the Linux file from the download page into Ubuntu, then make it executable and start it:

    chmod +x LaraKube*.AppImage
    ./LaraKube*.AppImage

  4. Continue with Setup.
